In my time with The Way Down Wanderers, we have recorded in studios around the world with a number of Grammy winning producers and engineers. On our latest record, I got to work on the other side of the glass and take on the role of producer and engineer. We spent nearly two years demoing, recording, re-recording, and dialing in this record. Lots of the album was tracked while we were on the road. Because of this, we used a number of different studios, ranging from professional commercial spaces to DIY setups in hotel rooms. I really enjoyed the creative boxes we were able to put ourselves in with this change of scenery and flexibility. I’m extremely proud of the album and it has been a great pleasure putting the record on stage across the country, following its April 2024 release.
